We partnered with Raptor Bikes from their humble inception in south west London. Their intentions were simple. The bike industry has been in decline post-covid and they wanted to shake things up. To do things differently. And more importantly deliver something better with care.

Over the past three years we’ve worked with them closely to deliver that. Their rider-first approach results in a bike that fits perfectly from the first pedal stroke. And moves you your way with confidence.

Raptor’s approach is a rider-centric one. Placing a focus on movement which formed the basis of our creative work.

Movement is baked into the identity, in particular the typeface we developed featuring sliced letterforms. Not only is this used on the products but across all touchpoints. Even on the upper slopes of Mont Ventoux during this year’s Tour de France.

Fitting Storytelling

The main challenge for Raptor was communicating their difference. The story Raptor wanted to tell was one of collaboration and education. The bike industry ordinarily works in assumed averages. It assumes everyone buying a bike is average. Raptor know this not to be the case. Everyone is different. And everyone deserves to be treated differently. Not with a one size fits all approach.
